Fab times with friends

I had a book club meeting tonight, and our host cooked us an amazingly delicious vegetable curry. We reviewed a book called “Where the crawdads sing”. A great book that we all heartily recommend. We think it’ll be made into a film, but so much better to read this book.

I even used quotes for discussion which I don’t normally do.

Here’s one: “His dad had told him many times that the definition of a real man is one who cries without shame, reads poetry with his heart, feels opera in his soul, and does what’s necessary to defend a woman.”

I like that.
