Wintry surprise

I drove into town to collect a colleague for our regular volunteer visit to HMP Addiewell. Due to roadworks the whole journey took an hour and 45 minutes.
The quality of the road after these repairs seems even poorer?

The visit went very well but the wintry West Lothian landscape, as we left, was a surprise and briefly challenging to drive through as well. Good to be back to almost normal. T braved the elements for choir in town this evening.
