All Blues

Today's the day ………………………… to sing alto

We started a new song tonight at choir - All Blues  by Miles Davis - and above you can see what the altos have to sing. 

Yes, I know, it's completely incomprehensible isn't it?  The sopranos have the words (as usual) and they are very lovely -

The sea, the sky, the you and I
The sea, the sky, for you and I
I'll know we're all blues
All shades, all hues, all blues

Some blues are sad
But some are glad,
Dark-sad or bright-glad
They're all blues
All shades, all hues, all blues ………….

I know it will all come good in the end because they always do.  But in the meantime, here is what Miles Davis wanted it to sound like ……………...
