More of the same
Popped out to the shops this morning to get one or two things including some fresh air, a card for a niece and a Blip. Just got into the car before a sleet shower burst upon us.
Lovely black sky with sunshine - ideal for photographs - but I missed the best of it by seconds when stopping to take this picture of the so-called 1745 House at Dunollie. It was, not surprisingly, built in 1745 as a replacement home for the Clan Chief of Dunollie, the castle presumably getting rather past it by then!
My extra today is of the next storm approaching from Mull. A sunny afternoon, tho' quite windy again.
Quote of the day:
Jan de Hartog, 'Waters of the New World' - "Man today should not try to live tomorrow. He should be content to silently watch its dawn."
