Good day

Got into work (only an hour round trip to drop the boys off today...) and found a card and present on my desk. The bursar had been in to drop these off as a hello and welcome, such a lovely thought. Am being made to feel so very welcome it’s delightful.

Lunch with the Governors and a very polite, but very obvious ‘what’s your background’ from the chairman, thankfully we found plenty of common ground and all was fine.

Delight of the day was the bridge to the neighbouring village is open, so a 10 minute there and back to get the boys - who were both very happy with their day.

Second delight of the day was the husband coming home

And we’ve been invited out to dinner on Saturday by some work colleagues.

So all in all, feeling quite happy about the day. .
