Foolin' Around

You know how it is ... maybe you don't. Anyway I played around with this close up image of a pen and ruler but no matter what I did, it still looked uninspired.

What to do? When all else fails, there are all those terrible old Photoshop filters that no self respecting photographer would actually ever use. Aaaaanyway I played with this one - tried a bit of that one - tinkered with another etc Somehow I arrived at what you see above .... along with a half dozen OTHER variations.

I have to admit that it's STILL uninspired but it somehow seems more interesting than what I started with so ... there you are then. Jolang should like it. She comes from Denmark too.
