Lunchtime view

Another quite busy day today getting lots of jobs done and trying to keep the delightful Miss 5 occupied. This is our lunchtime view taken from "our favourite restaurant" otherwise known as the picnic shelters at Main Beach. It was extremely hot at home today today so we packed some sandwiches and drinks and took them up on the hill overlooking the beach - I swear it was 10 or more degrees cooler there in the shade and with a beautiful sea breeze. Pretty crap shot but I took it with A's cheapie camera as I can't really concentrate on photos at the moment and had left mine at home. When we came home we then changed and went for a swim in our friends pool - they are away and have given us the key to their house so we can use the pool. Such a godsend in this weather especially with a lively little person on board as during the day it's almost too hot to be on the beach. We have got her nearly doing breaststroke - if only she would concentrate she'd be almost there but even at 5 is very much her own person and only does what suits her when she is in the pool and would rather play - doesn't take after me of course!!! I'm rather puffed tonight so am just about ready for bed.
