Friday night sparkles and bubbles

I enjoyed a Friday night of sparkles and bubbles. Laura and I sat under this glistening chandelier for a drink after work at McLarens on the Corner. Then, as soon as I reached home, Jon poured me a glass (or two, or three...) of fizzy Gioioso.

Inevitably the Catan board came out after dinner. I stole a last minute win, much to the annoyance of the others. Poor Jon thought that he would be the champion in the next round but, unfortunately for him, my luck with a couple of development cards meant that the 'next round' did not materialise.

Exercise today: some walking - but not much because I wimped out due to the hideous weather and caught buses both to and from work (8072 steps).
