Goldeneye

I finally figured that if I am going to snap this interesting little duck, I needed to get the thing that lends them their name. So I waited carefully, then took my chance. This is on a stretch of the Caledonian Canal two or three minutes from my flat. Am I not lucky? Like most birds, they are territorial, so they come back here every year. No wonder, there are good shops and two excellent takeaways.
