Philips portables on parade

You've seen them before but this is my little collection of Philips portable record players from the sixties and seventies. I took them out today to check whether they had batteries in them, having decided to remove any that were there. I once wrecked a keyboard by leaving batteries in it which leaked over the years. The sixties one, far left, which I had as a child, is easily the best sounding. After that they started putting piddly wee speakers in them.
