Silly ..............

We had the professional ''tree men'' in yesterday despite the wind and the rain - they arrived at 07.30 ........... the silver birch at the front of the house (left pic) is now a third of its height and width and the cherry tree at the back is now less than half its height and quarter of its width.

Marginally bigger, bigger!

I think the cherry tree looks like a storybook tree that will grab up little, unsuspecting children who are naughty and gobble them up!!!  Lol.
I have a weird imagination!!!!!!!!!!   That's the silly bit of my blip.

I am now nine teabags, half a pint of milk, twelve sausages, two full packs of bacon, six eggs and almost a loaf of bread lighter - and there were only three of them - not to mention hundreds and hundreds of pounds less in the kitty.
It took them four hours to do the work and every branch and big twig has gone - they raked the grass back and front and also the gravel drive.   A job very well done.

As you can see we are still in the ''orange zone'' at that side in the back garden but, wonder of wonders, the extremely nice wife of the very not nice man on the other side has had their side fence already replaced (I gave him tea too but not food!) - their back fence also needs replacement but it's still just standing so .................
