1st birthday party

I slept very well last night and woke up very happy this morning. Thomas persuaded daddy to bring us breakfast in bed, so we had some rice crispies sat in mummy and daddy's bed watching kids TV.
Daddy and Thomas got ready for swimming and me and mummy got ready for my party. Mummy called in reinforcements in the shape of grandad to watch me and give me my dinner whilst she sorted out food for the party.
Nannie and grops arrived just after I'd finished my dinner and I had a quick power nap on nannie to prepare for being the centre of attention!
I was a little bit confused when I woke up to a house full of people, but enjoyed playing with my toys with isobel, Heidi and Joseph, whilst Thomas played in his bedroom with ava, hollie, Abbie and Ella.
We had some party food and then uncle marmoo lit the candles on my cake (a normal one and a sparkler one which nen bought for me) and everyone sang happy birthday.
I had another nap this afternoon, this time on grandma, then had tea and cake and played 'cheers' with uncle marmoo's beer.
When everyone left it was almost bedtime, and for the first time in a week I was tired and ready to go down in my cot as soon as my pj's were on.
We've had a lovely day with our family and friends.
