Sturdy lock gates

A trip to Gainsborough this morning to take my sewing machine in for service.

It has taken me ages to find somewhere to take it. The agent in Lincoln will only service machines that it has sold!!! I was told that the business in Gainsborough didn’t service but sent them to Lincoln.........x^?#*

But that was ‘false news’. A number of my sewing friends have now had their machines done. Leaving mine today was scary .....like leaving a child at nursery!!!!!

On the way home we checked out the lock at Torksey, water levels way up again.
