GLEY CHESTED ROBIN
Not the best image I've taken today as it was taken through the window, but I wanted to show our bold wee robin's distinctive chest pattern. The little inverted 'v' of white below his red chest is off centre to his right, making it possible to distinquish between him and the other robin that hangs about our deck. This one is the more aggressive of the two, and also the one that has learned how to access the hanging feeder. The ivy covered wall is a favourite staging post on the way to the feeders.
Recording a radio session with my colleague N. this morning, then half heartedly doing the books and planning work. It is always a welcome relief, when, like today, I get a call from someone who wants to enrol on the next course and I start doing the bit of the job I really enjoy.
