Otter Grooming

The light wasn't too good here- looking into the sun. I was out at Brodgar and had a nice walk around but no otters. Skylarks were singing, though, and it was warm and windless, so it felt like spring. On the way back I saw the dog otter along the usual stretch of lochshore. He was grooming and swimming and marking his territory and also caught some prey- a small fish and another unidentifiable item. The extra shot shows him shaking himself dry like a dog (otter).
