Red-necked grebe

This is a fairly uncommon visitor to the UK and only in wintertime. It was spotted by someone driving through St Mary's village yesterday, so I headed down this morning and, surprise-surprise, it was still there. Usually birds have disappeared by the time I go to see them, but this was quite close in and I got a nice view. Weather today went from sunny and warm to hailshowers.
