St Andrews Cathedral

A section of the remains of Scotland’s largest medieval cathedral in St Andrews.The distinctive twin turrets of the East Tower are seen though the archway. The cathedral was built in 1158 but fell into disuse during the 16th-century Scottish Reformation.
