Vintage

This dear little cup and saucer is one of a set of four that we have acquired from Mr A's family home.  I don't know the history of them, but believe they belonged to one of Mr A's grandmothers.  These days we always drink tea from mugs, but we do have small coffees in cups and saucers...so that will be their new use.  We just couldn't bear to part with them.

Anyway, we had a lovely evening when Mr A Jnr came round for a meal straight from work - a first since he's moved to his own place.  We ought to do that more often, I reckon.  Needless to say, he was sent off with a box of homemade flapjack and a freshly-made Victoria Sandwich cake, amongst other things.
