I Wonder ?

The robin seems to be puzzled by the web of dried grass caught in the twigs. What's it doing up here, ten feet above the river? 

Left here by last week's floods and now high and dry. Fine nesting material. Though that spot doesn't look too  secure.  So maybe not ...

I was down by the Teviot in the hopes of seeing a dipper, but no luck today.
