February Showers

A day of dark grey clouds and heavy showers interspersed with sunshine, making the light interesting at times. April showers in February. I liked this shot of the Irwell, which is doing its job of draining a very wet catchment.

I was returning from an event where the “star guest” was absent, stuck in Tenerife where all the planes are grounded with the Sahara sandstorms. Hopefully she is not in the hotel where everyone is now quarantined. A challenging start to 2020.
