Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Well done me!

The new 'try a bit harder regime' started today. I cycled, and did some of my new exercises. One of them is holding the long broom handle across my shoulders and turning both ways, keeping my head still. Archie was a bit alarmed and left the room. I also did the sitting down on the floor ones. I can get up (and down) using the coffee table, but it's not a pretty sight.

The exercise didn’t stop there. It was such a nice morning, I took Archie to the beach. He had a liver muffin, and I had a lovely flat white at the caravan. Gosh, he loves those muffins - he hardly leaves my side the whole way.

Seren came to take Archie out this afternoon, and I gave her the key, so she popped him back in (just access to the hall - he'd be muddy) to chew on his bone quietly till we came home.

I then walked round to McLaren's to meet JR, Louise, and the new baby. They'd had lunch. Then we walked home via Salt for a coffee.

I was passing the bus stop just as a bus arrived, and I did not get on it!!. This has NEVER happened before. So, for the first time ever - my step total is over 10,000! 10,145 to be exact, though I did have to add a couple of hundred more on the bike. Epic!
