BATTLE IN THE SKY.....

.... or at least over the wetlands today!

Went to do some "homework" in prep for what I hope will be a successful excursion tomorrow morning early! Yes, the start of our Milky Way season has me excited about getting a lot more practise at this fun photo genre.

Opposite where I hope to get some action, is a wetlands now full of water and "buzzing" with activity. Managed to get a fair shot of a dragonfly roaring around the water. The dark background effect is due to being shaded by gum trees lining the water perimeter.
