WELL A Milky Way SORT OF....

... had all the preparation to start this years practice for a better Milky Way shot or three!!!

The plan said clear night, no cloud, and some mist. The location was right with the dam, windmill and maybe some cows (they were there over the back), and I was not sure how much light input from Richmond?

The only thought of not going, was that the homework needed me there at 4am - but as you do off I went at 3-30am.

Everything started off okay with just a little mist adding "texture" to the bottom of frame, and the external light sort of worked okay. However the Milky Way because of the light not as pronounced as I was thinking of, and am yet to get the "art" to as fine detail of "stitching" etc etc....

And, then the mist came in - here and here, but after a bit was not too bad.

All in all, suppose went okay, and learnt a few things.
