Everyday I Write The Book

By Eyecatching

We had a workshop today. It was surprisingly useful, and good to spend time with colleagues who are all under pressure, so there was a bit of group therapy in there for good measure. I also managed to go the whole day without slumping which pleased me. I’m not exactly running around the block, but I am feeling better than of late. The workload remains unremittingly high however, and I have a busy week ahead next week.

Came home to a lovely house full of candles and a home cooked meal courtesy of The Dizzle. Great stuff.

Days like this when all you do is go into the office, work, and look out of the window at the rain before getting home later than intended - well they are not fertile ground for blipping, but the whole point of a daily photo blog is to dig deep and find an image that does more than reflect the apparent ennui. Think laterally. Tap into the universe’s quietly beating heart and feel the rhythm that runs through all creation. Discover your soulful side. Find a new angle. Seek colour or contrast or shape or movement, anything. Do not go gently into that dull night. Fight, fight for your photographic right.

Or get someone to pose for you, like The Dizzle and Mystic Em here ...
