The madness

Intense meeting of Portland Buddhist Peace Fellowship today. We differ. We, who have a common intention to respect each other and to do no harm, differ on how to shun complicity with a system that harms others, how to effect social change, when to keep silent, when to speak out, how to connect, and with whom to connect. We differ. After some hours of patient listening and careful speech, and some tears, we came to some conclusions that pleased all but one person of the eight involved.
