Blue Window by Matisse

We started very slowly today. It was after 12:00 before we got our internal engines revving. Then we walked to Whole Foods to shop for a few more supplies. By the time we got home it was after four and we were hungry. So we ate rotisserie chicken, salad and some challah we were given by some young Chabad men we met on our way. We relaxed until after 5:30 and then we walked to MOMA to take advantage of the free entry fee on Friday night. The place was mobbed but we didn’t mind. We spent all our time looking at early 20th century art. My photo is of Matisse’s Blue Window. We both loved seeing so much great art. We stopped at the Shake Shack to buy ice cream on our way home. I got a bit confused on directions but we made it before the ice cream melted. The day was cold and clear and we were glad we brought our warm coats, gloves and hats.
