Guggenheim
This afternoon we took a bus up Madison Avenue to the Guggenheim Museum. I had never been. Instead of the usual (according to Shelly) art works along the rising ramp there was a show about the meaning of country as in rural space. There were many related topics in many forms relating to our idealistic view of the country, how it’s changed over the years, the shrinking of it, and what the future holds. There were some galleries along the way that did have 20th century art and we especially enjoyed those. It was a fascinating experience.
