Murder

Such an unfortunate description! I wrote a short blog years ago about how the crows along the Hudson River used to flock along the Green Island Bridge outside of Troy until they came and covered the entire island in apartment buildings. The crows moved into town and they started shooting firecrackers at them to keep them out of town. I tried searching my hard drive for the story, but alas, it is lost.

They were a bit ghostly as they came so silently by the thousands (they were silent, too, as they flew in, you could only hear their wings), but they were beautiful and magical. So, I liked this photo.

But I took a couple of others.

This is my tea plant

I don't know what kind of plant this is going to seed

And this is for OnMapleCreek. There is a story... In Syracuse, there used to be an artist who painted all the fire hydrants blue and gold with stars and polka-dots. They were beautiful. And he repainted them every few years. Last year, they came through and painted over all of the hydrants. Now they are just plain red.
