Urban Logging

This is the only picture I took yesterday (it's a backblip). This tree no longer exists except perhaps as firewood and chips. We have hoped for a long time they would do something about them as they were not taken care of and branches kept falling very close to our garage and car. Many old branches hung precariously and were a little sketchy. We should have known that "doing something" would mean total annihilation of any greenery. They took down three trees and three bushes. They were beautiful in the summer and kept the house cool. We will pay for out desire not to have branches fall on our car when it gets hot.
