A view out to sea

A quiet Sunday.

A friend invited me to go with her to the lovely little chapel attached to the Quinta where I sometimes stay. It was a Catholic service in English and they were very welcoming.

I strolled through the Old Town during the early afternoon. It was overcast and close and very quiet.

Funchal has been quieter than usual this week.
