Thanks...

...for the overwhelming and  somewhat embarrassing  number of  positive and kind messages after I had notified my constituency association meeting in Tarbert this afternoon that I wouldn’t be  standing for the Scottish Parliament next year. 

There will be time enough to think about and talk about what is next, and what has passed, but the picture today is a rare selfie which also shows a little of the wonderful Argyll & Bute constituency.

It is also the image that the BBC used when I did a Skype interview with them after the SNP meeting.
