Wicklow

This weekend I made a short but wholesome visit to Ireland to visit a friend (the same one from my first blip). We went to the Wicklow mountains and had a lovely little hike. This is the largest national park in Ireland and the scenery and history was just incredible. The weather was perfect for the time we were outside and as soon as we got back in the car it turned to gale force winds and sleet. I experienced my first teabrack (spelling!?) which is like a Christmas cake but without the alcohol. It went perfectly with a hot beverage at the end of our walk.
