The Snooty Sunbather!

My plan to get a car load to the Cancer Research Charity shop this morning backfired.  

They were not accepting anything because they were overwhelmed (and thanks to the pedestrianisation you can't get to any other charity shop with a car full ) :(  

So sadly it all went to the tip - but obviously books and clothing could go into the usual places....

Tried and failed to get a GP appointment - yet again - to get my thumb joint looked at.  Pharmacist said before Christmas I may have a crack in the joint....and its just so painful.   

Online appointments had already gone by the time I got back from the tip at 10am (they are put on at 10am).  So then I called the surgery and explained I've been trying since before Christmas and can't do it from work.  Her answer was to go to the surgery at 10am tomorrow and tell the receptionist I need to book an appointment (well I'll be there earlier than that) - but those appointments will be for next week or two weeks time!!  Useless....  

I am so trying not to go to A&E as this has been going on too long for that and I don't intend to block up their time because they'll have more urgent cases....plus I don't want to pick up any other lurgie there...

If I don't manage to book an appointment tomorrow, firstly I'll write a letter of complaint and copy it to my MP and then I'll book a private GP appointment and pay for it at the Private Hospital in Reading (but that's the last thing I want to do)...

Anyway, on with the packing up and making the most of time with my Girl! :)
