A Sad Anniversary

Dear Diary,

A year ago today my dear little boy passed over the rainbow bridge.  I miss him everyday.  Although I am so happy to have my little imp Louisa May, zooming around the house, chatting none-stop, I miss Emerson's quiet dignity and loving manner.  Each cat or dog is unique, their own personality, like people, but some are truly special and Emerson was such a cat.  I miss you handsome and I think of you all the time!
