A Chipping Sparrow

Dear Diary,

I think this is a little Chipping Sparrow but I'm not completely sure.  I don't see them often and I had to consult my Audubon guide.  That wee russet cap is so sweet.  I sprinkle seeds on the ground for the birds as well as put them in the feeder and in the bowls.  Lots of dining options at the Back Porch Café!  It is 0F this morning, a big change from yesterday.  UPDATE:  I now believe this is a Red Poll!
