View from the trig point
Spent a while this morning taking photos of the newly finished tenor mandola, before its new owner came to collect it early in the afternoon. He seemed very happy!
As soon as he'd gone, MrM and packed the car with several weeks' worth of stuff to go to the recycling centre - the council don't collect bottles, rigid plastic, cartons, batteries or light bulbs. Afterwards, we continued past the tip and went up to Weetwood Moor for a walk. A blue sky when we set out, but by the time we started walking it was decidedly gloomy, with a keen, icy wind (though not quite as bitter as yesterday!). Apart from a patch of snowdrops by the track, very little sign of spring up on the moor as yet.
The Blip shows Hedgehope Hill (to the left) and the Cheviot (in the mist), both with a smattering of snow.
