You know you're in Northumberland when...

First Monday of the month is session night in the pub across the way. Not many of us at all this evening, probably due to there being what sounded like a popular concert on elsewhere.
Nevertheless we had two Northumbrian pipers, who disappeared for a short while, and then returned "not only in tune with each other, but also ourselves".
Anybody who is familiar with Northumbrian pipes will know what devils they can sometimes be!
