Bridge....

... as seen from the boat ride through the cypress swamp—I loved how the reflection completed the circle. We picked the perfect day to go to Cypress Gardens as the sun was out, it was warm, and there were hardly any other people there so it seemed almost as though we had the whole place to ourselves. We spent a lot of time in the butterfly house, then walked to the landing for the boat ride, & on the ride we were lucky to see a baby alligator, a couple larger ones, lots of turtles & of course the cypress trees. There were flowers blooming everywhere & we hiked around on the trails looking at them all. We also got a kick out of a cockatoo that said “Hello, what’s your name”?  when we walked toward it. (I had to put one of the gators in the extras as I’m always thrilled when I get to see them.) I head home tomorrow afternoon....the time just flew by....and Mary’s been an awesome tour guide! :))
