A Pocket Of Sunshine

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

It was a chilled Sunday. I spent the first few hours chatting to you LTJ, during which time the rain stopped. To ward off potential cabin fever, The Prince and I took Murphy for a six mile walk round Dalkeith Country Park. It’s a brilliant place with loads of lovely walks. There was a small incident with Murphy jumping into a field of horses which we won’t mention or his moment of barking at a cow which was about six times his size.

LTJ - after our chat about your love of spoon carving, I found out that there is a thing here called Spoonfest (30th July - 2nd August) which is ‘the international celebration of the carved wooden spoon’. It has a website with the line-up. One of the spoon carvers is Dan Lawrence aka ‘Dan De Lion. Apparently Dan will run ‘Mimic a spoon’ again, along with ‘How to take your axing further’.

How to take your axing further? It sounds like a beginners class for serial killers!
