From Sadness to Joy!

Dear Diary,

They are back!  At least one little Chippy made an appearance and I am so happy!  Finally, a furry friend if not at the back porch diner then scurrying about close by.  I was so worried that they had disappeared along with the squirrels but I was, thankfully, wrong.  Our temperatures will be on the mild side so the little "striped squirrels" (and old New England name for them) will be waking up from their long winter nap.  I've added an extra of this little one exploring a hole in the snow near the steps to the patio.  Oh, it is so good to have furry ones to photograph again!
