As a bonus day, I guess I ought to have been doing something notable and worthwhile...but in the event I just stayed in the warm finishing The Color Purple while the rain lashed and the wind howled outside.

This is our rocking chair topped off with a couple of cushions - the top one being another of my sister-in-law's embroidery creations.
