... which meant a 25 mile detour by bus - the only opportunity to take photographs that weren't through glass from a speeding train.  Regardless of that, it has to be THE best train journey in the world, particularly when there is thick snow on the ground.  Not much Blip interaction at the moment due to early rising for trains and planes.
