Red Squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris)

Another Red Squirrel shot but different to any I have done before.  When I saw the squirrel it was sat nibbling a Hazelnut with its back to me.   OK get the camera ready and wait for it to turn round.  By the time it did my arms were aching and I had lowered the camera.

Clickychick suggested opening the door to get a shot.  This has never worked before so I stayed in place intending to get a shot when it moved away.   Well CC got her shots and waved me over, the squirrel totally ignored us and continued nibbling.
