So they are now saying to self isolate if unwell, and you could catch corona virus from cash. Reminds me of a visit to the plague village (Black Death) of Eyam in Derbyshire. The whole village quarantined themselves in 1665/6, some distance away there were stones where hollows were drilled and filled with vinegar. In these holes money was placed by the villagers. Food was brought by outsiders and left at the stones in return for the sanitised coins, no face to face contact being made. It contained the plague, stopping the spread to neighbouring villages but most of the residents died.
