GUESS WHAT

I am talking football here - that world renowned game that is . . . well let us just say it does not have the reputation it once had thanks to the 'celebrities' involved !

Last night Bradford City (of League Two) played Aston Villa (of The Premier League), a team 62 places above them, in the second leg of a Cup Semi-Final.
The Villa team cost over £90 million, the Bradford team cost £7,500. Even more astounding was that this amount was for only one of their players - the rest of the team (including an Aussie) cost nothing at all !

So little Bradford, previously known to most because of a devastating fire at their old ground in 1985 that killed 56 people and injured hundreds more, will grace the playing fields of Wembley Stadium in February. My very Best Wishes to you all on that day !
For my regular readers, Bradford is, of course, in the County of Yorkshire !!!
