Our house

The building work was finished a few months ago but there is still quite a long way to go. The outside of the house need to be painted, but that will have to wait until the warmer drier weather. The recent storms have highlighted the need to resealaround the windows to prevent small streams of water from geiing in under the windown sills and around the frame of the hall window. Internally, we still need to decorate the extension and lay carpets and floor coverings. The hall, stairs and landing still need replastering and the bedrooms need to be replastered and deocrated. The boys bedroom also need a new ceiling after water leaked through the roof when we first moved in. We have had to wait until the extension was built to give us room to move out of the various rooms while they are decorated. This has been a long time coming. Eventually we will finally have a nice house. Although at the rate we have been going, the boys will have left home by the time it is finished!
