Lucky Thirteen

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

The Disciple has a new contract working downstairs from me in the office.

We went for a walk at lunchtime to catch up. I took The Disciple into Riddles Court which is near the top of the Lawnmarket. It still amazes me that it’s so quiet. You can’t even hear the sound of the traffic on the cobbles Just a dozen steps away from one of the busiest streets in the city into blissful silence.

You can always find calm in the chaos*.

In other news, it is our thirteenth anniversary today. We have postponed celebrations until next weekend as I am on early support tomorrow and working at the weekend for a dress rehearsal** .
