Registering

On my way to my aunt’s Solicitors to sign a form to register for confirmation (probate) in England, I passed New Register House.

The gates to the offices are topped by substantial crowns and the dome gleamed in the springlike sunshine. While the air was cool the rays had warmth.

So much so that I walked back through the Meadows where the crocuses (not “focuses” as I typed on 18 February) are now in full bloom. See extra. Today there were groups of volunteers out planting snowdrops and wood anenomes for next year.
