A break for lunch.

I am working at home this morning.

Salford CC has a service transformation programme. This involves reduced desk space (and “hot desking”), paperless working (in my case, less paper), the right kit and software, and mobile working. So working away from the work place, including at home, is actively encouraged. Saves the authority money (physical space contracts) and is more flexible.

Which means everyone has to have the kit to be able to do it. That’s a continuing roll out.

As it turns out, this will also help if we have to self isolate. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen though

NB We cannot choose a screen saver. That is used by the centre to get key messages across. These three ladies have been viewed by us all, all week
