Leo in the sun

What a difference in the weather from yesterday. Yesterday, it rained all day in Amersham. Skies were gloriously blue this morning..

Claire, my Airbnb host, had left for work by the time I got up. I was glad that her cat Leo showed up before I left for home. He found a singularly sunny spot on the wooden bench by the French windows and stretched himself out in the sun.

Google forgot that I wanted to head north via the A43 and directed me back instead on the M25 and M1. I was not best pleased. But it was a fine day and congestion was relatively limited. I stopped twice to rest and fell into bed on reaching home. Still feeling tired and weak.
